- May 10, 2012 – How a Nurse Tried to Escalate False Allegations to the U.S. Attorney’s Office

On May 10, 2012, registered nurse Kimberlee A. Moyer prepared a report repeating a broad collection of false allegations against me and my then-boyfriend after meeting with Raymond and Marilyn Knutsen and speaking with my six-year-old son.

Moyer was not conducting a neutral forensic investigation, and she never interviewed me. She never spoke to Wayne, and acknowledged that her information-gathering was still incomplete. She nevertheless recommended that my child have no contact with me or my boyfriend before the investigation was finished and before the medical results referenced in her report were available.

On May 11, 2012, Moyer’s report was transmitted through the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont. This placed an incomplete, unverified clinical narrative carrying the appearance of professional authority into a federal prosecutorial office within days of the accusations beginning.

The allegations were false. There was no sexual abuse whatsoever. The document is significant because it shows how quickly false claims were professionally packaged, circulated through legal institutions, and used to support the separation of my child from me. The effort itself ultimately failed. Federal prosecutors took no action.
