What began as a custody dispute evolved into a prolonged legal battle that ultimately severed our relationship and generated thousands of pages of court records, sworn testimony, government documents, and professional disciplinary records.

Education

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1995 and a Master’s Degree in International Business from Southern New Hampshire University in 2002.

My educational records are relevant because individuals involved in this case repeatedly promoted the false claim that I had no education or had fabricated my academic credentials.

Professional Background

I have spent more than three decades working in enterprise technology, software consulting, systems architecture, customer relationship management, marketing technology, data migration, and systems integration.

My professional work has included designing and implementing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies, growing businesses, and consulting clients across multiple industries.

My background is rooted in analyzing complex systems, tracing data, identifying inconsistencies, and documenting how separate pieces of information fit together. Those same skills became invaluable as I organized thousands of pages of records connected to this case.

Family Court Proceedings

I was the mother in the Vermont family court proceedings documented throughout this website.

Those proceedings included custody hearings, written decisions, appeals, psychological evaluations, reunification efforts, allegations concerning my parenting, and repeated intervention by attorneys, psychologists, therapists, police officers, investigators, and government agencies.

Civil Litigation

I later brought civil litigation against Raymond Knutsen and several professionals whose actions contributed to my separation from my son.

Those proceedings produced pleadings, motions, depositions, trial testimony, expert reports, judicial rulings, subpoenas, billing disputes, and records concerning documents that were requested but never produced.

The civil litigation also created sworn testimony from many of the central figures in this case, allowing their statements to be compared directly with the documentary record.

Government Investigations

The events documented on this website involved numerous investigative and government agencies.

Those agencies included local police departments, the Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations, the Vermont Department for Children and Families, the Vermont State Police, federal agencies, border authorities, prosecutors, and other government entities.  The full list, along with the documents they produced, can be found on the Investigative Agencies page.

In May 2012, investigators obtained a warrant to search my home for specifically described evidence. None of the evidence identified in the warrant was found. Despite that result, the “investigations” continued, and the accusations surrounding it became part of the sequence of events that ultimately severed my relationship with my son.
